Title: Business/IT Analyst – Customer MDM
Location: San Jose, CA or Dallas, TX
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:
The Business Analyst will provide leadership in defining requirements for implementation of a Customer Master Data Mgt system and business processes for a fortune 500 software company. Requirements will include details of how MDM data will be used in business processes across the enterprise including sales (direct and channel), support, finance, marketing and order management. Requirements will also address data management and data governance business/system requirements. Consultant will produce detailed Business Requirements Documents and software selection criteria. Consultant will conduct impact assessments across all existing applications, integration and data warehouses resulting from the MDM implementation.

Required Skills or experience:
- 5+ years defining business requirements
- Experience defining requirements and implementing Customer Master Data Management
- Business domain knowledge of all key affected business flows including sales, support, finance, marketing and order mgt
- Broad exposure to and knowledge of industry best practices in channel sales
- Candidate should have extensive exposure in defining process for large Global companies
- IT SDLC knowledge
- Experience with data modeling and ERD development
- Hands on skills at authoring key project deliverables including process flows, business requirements, use cases and testing requirements
- Excellent communications skills including written, spoken and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate at the executive level
- Must have collaboration and team building orientation
- Expert in MS Office applications and Visio

Application Specific Knowledge (consultant must have experience with some or all of the following):
- Knowledge of SAP order management and customer master data model
- Knowledge of Siebel customer master data model
- Experience with Oracle TCA data model
- Knowledge of Purisma customer data hub

Nice to have:
- Data warehouse requirements and functional design experience
- Software testing/QA experience
- Change management experience
