Position: Design Manager
Department: Consumer Linear
Location: Chengdu
Role & Responsibilities:
-Build and lead a team of highly motivated Mixed-Signal Design Engineers.
-Ensure that devices meet required specification through simulation and characterization
with assistance and collaboration with characterization and test engineering.
-Mentor and collaborate with other IC design engineers.
-Collaborate with marketing and system engineering to refine and align product definition
with process and circuit topology capabilities.
Complex Tasks:
-Must identify and evaluate key risk areas in the design and develop mitigation plans.
-System level product understanding, risk anticipation and mitigation, sound
judgment/decision making, and prioritization.
Management/Organizational Skills:
-Must be able to forecast time to completion of project and project milestones.
-Must be able to lead and motivate the team to complete complex tasks on time and in line
with the customer's needs.
-Close collaboration within the team and with other organizations is essential. Extremely
well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.
Team and People Skills:
-Ability to lead a team and coordinate team efforts is necessary to achieve timely
development of new products.
Projects and Deliverables:
-Drive the team to develop simulation plan and results documentation, design and verify
analog integrated circuit design, coordinate and verify IC layout design. Support of
characterization and test engineering to validate design performance.

cost objectives on a timeline.

Qualifications:
-Experience in design and layout of Mixed-Signal IC devices utilizing CMOS, and/or
Bi-CMOS technologies.
-Experienced with IC design and development from definition through release to
production.
-Must communicate well with management, peers, and customers.
- Must be Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
- Must have experience in a number of the following circuit areas:
* Analog circuit design, amplifier design, Bandgap design, LDO design, ADC design,
and DAC design
-Ideally, the candidate will have 5+ years of design experience and be ready to lead a
technical team.
-Experience leading and building a team is a big plus
