Position: Sr Business Systems Analyst, Procure to Pay
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Rate: Market, all inclusive
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (P2P) is responsible for all technical & functional requirements, design, develop, configuration, implementation and support of client's Financial System´s Procure to Pay process in Oracle EBS R12 and custom applications. The position is located in Phoenix, AZ.
Duties and responsibilities as follows:
• Serves as Techno-Functional Analyst for Oracle EBS 11i/R12 Procure to Pay process (Account Payables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, iProcurement, and Sub Ledger Accounting).
• Responds proactively to user issues and Provides high level support and troubleshoots all issues.
• Manages, tracks and implements production bugs/issues and enhancements.
• Opens and coordinates service requests with Vendor´s or Oracle and Determine required patches.
• Mentors and trains other team members and end-user community.
• Participates in future upgrades by researching changes to functionality and determining impact.
• Develops current Business Process Models and Developing High-Level Process Designs.
• Demonstrates process improvements or recommendations to higher management.
• Gathers Business Requirements and Identifies current financial and Operating Structures.
• Defines and revises Application/Database Technical Architecture and Functional/Technical Designs.
• Defines Application Extension Analysis and Estimate Application Extensions Solution.
• Defines Data Conversion Requirements and Strategy, Performs Conversion Data Mapping.
• Defines and reviews Standards and Procedures and Determine Reporting, Audit Requirements.
• Prepares User Reference Manual and User Operational Guides.
• Prepares detailed project plans, time scale and detailed steps and maintaining a current project plan.
• Defines Testing Requirements and Develops strategy, Unit/Systems Integration Test Scripts.
• Prepares Test Environments, Perform Systems Integration Testing and Performance Test Report.
• Defines and documents standard installations, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participates in projects and provide cross-functional support and coordination on issues.
• Applies the best Change Control Management practices including with risk management.
• Provides day-to-day support and Responds to production outages/problems as per SLA.
• Taking primary ownership of high volume release management cycles and scheduling environments.
Basic Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years experience in Oracle Tools and Strong P2P process knowledge in Oracle EBS.
• 3+ years experience as Techno-Functional Analyst and 2+ years experience in Oracle R12.
• Must have experience with SOX- Sarbanes Oxley Act Compliance controls.
• SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Workflow, OAF/ADF- JDeveloper, Web Services, SQL*Loader, Shell Scripting, Oracle Forms/Reports, Alerts, FSG, Java, Performance tuning and Vertex.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Office and Visio.
• Proficient in Data Models, ER - Diagrams, System Architecture, process flow and Data flows.
• Must have strong functional knowledge and configuration of Oracle EBS (11i/R12) - AP, PO, GL, SLA, FA, iProcurement and iExpense with multi-currency/language and MOAC.
• Strong Technical/Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Open Inbound/Outbound Interfaces/APIs.
• Strong knowledge in AOL- Application Object Library Management / System Administration.
• Preparing the SET-UP, Requirements, Functional & Technical Design Documents, Test Cases/Plans.
• Must have working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies like Rational Unified Process (RUP) or ITIL, Rapid Application Development (RAD) Approach.
• Must have experience with Oracle´s AIM - Application Implementation Methodologies.
• Strong Knowledge of Change Management practices like RFC, FSC, Risk Assessment, Impact Analysis, Back-out Plan, version controlling and working with CAB- Change Advisory Board.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work on several projects at one time.
• Must have of Project Management skills (Developing Project Plan, Scheduling, Cost Estimates. Executing, Monitoring, Controlling and Analyzing Risks).
Additional Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document technical processes and procedures.
• Ability to translate technical terms to layperson´s terms, ability to present to audiences outside of IT.
• Strong ability to partner with customers and to review and understand end-to-end work processes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and Ability to mentor & provide guidance to team.
• SEI-CMM-Level 3/5 work experience.
• Experience with virtual teams across physical locations
