Job Responsibilities
The Platform Characterization team is searching for a self starting, hands-on, team oriented engineer. In this role, the engineer will work closely with architects, firmware and hardware engineers, and test methodology engineers, to understand the product and test methodology with the goal of developing tests to characterize the performance of the product. Prior experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and C or C++ are required, and expertise in developing a test plan, creating test hardware and software, analyzing results and presenting a comprehensive report. Experience working with other teams is also desirable.
Other responsibilities include:
• Generation of validation test plans
• Work closely with testing team to ensure results are complete on time
• Statistical analysis of data and results
• Able to work with Systems engineers to understand new technology and testing methodology.
• Work closely with research and development teams to give updates in real-time on performance results.
• Able to design, develop, and validate test software
Required Qualifications
• BSEE with 2-3 years of Product/Test engineering experience
• Experience with PCBA and FPCA circuits, component testing and debugging
• Experience in design of test hardware circuit
• Knowledge in "C" & "C++" programming and program development skills
• Knowledge of National Instruments LabView software
• Experienced in device characterization, device debugging
• Fast-paced and dynamic work experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
Must be a good communicator with good interpersonal skill, team player, has project planning/organizational skills and demonstrate analytical thinking.
