Job Description:
As part of a Mobility / WiFI Project , we are putting a team in place to perform End-to-End solutions, performance, Scalability Tests. We seek a Network Technician who is experienced in end-to-end System performance and capacity testing and can contribute to the integration of large/complex service provider Mobility and WiFi solutions. Candidate must be able to work as a member of a Software Engineering team and handle any of the following responsibilities:
•Directly interface with Solution Architects, Pre-Sales Marketing teams and field engineers to define/contribute in end to end solution definition.
•Analyze the field requirements and translate them into internal network design and topology requirements.
•Execute system integration and implementation, identify issues, and propose resolutions.
•Demonstrate strong understanding of multiple technology areas and adapt to new solutions and technologies as required.
•Development of E2E solution level performance and capacity test strategy (scope definition) including development of program plans.
•Lead the production of a comprehensive test plan and/or test strategy based on a technical solution definition involving multiple products.
•Participate in bug scrubbing with BUs to identify release blockers to ensure the E2E performance and capacity solution is delivered with the best quality.
•Requires hands-on experience with one or more of the WAN and network layer protocols and high-performance test equipment such as SmartBits, IXIA, Adtech, and Agilent
•Collaboration and teamwork.
•Translate E2E solution level performance and capacity test results into system design guidelines (considering customer/business requirements).
•Provide Demo and Pre-Sales support for the field.
•Work with cross-platform test teams and influence upstream improvements based on lessons learned after completion of projects.
•Drive the end to end automation requirements and development of the test cases using ATS methodology or any other newer methods to improve end to end test coverage/Regression.

•Mobility: PMIPv6, GTPv1/v2, 3GPPP, Radius, Diameter, IMS
•Gateways: GGSN, SGW, PGW, MME, eWAG, PCRF
•Wireless Key Technology: 802.11a/b/c/g/n, different authentication mechanisms, CAPWAP, L2VPN, IPSec
•Cisco Products – AP, WLC, ASR1K, ASR5K, ASR9K, UCS
•Test Tools: IXIA Veriwave/Ixload, Spirent Landslide/STS, Cisco ATS
•Cisco Certifications( CCIE) are a plus!
