Sr. Hands on Backend Server side Java Developer needed for long term consulting project work at OTM for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate $85-90/hour DOE.

*Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)

** Must Have:
•US Education Experience, a Bachelors or Masters from US Institution
•Must Have Direct Experience with SOA, Significant Back end Java Development and Distributed Computing.

Responsibilities:
•Contribute to the Development of Large scale, Highly scalable Web Applications.

Required Skills:
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional development environment.
•Must be a Hands On Developer, having exp with Programming/Coding in Java.
•1-2+ years of Architecting large scale Web / Internet Applications a plus
•A strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms is required.
•Ability to design / develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
•Strong experience with Java/J2EE/SOA is required.
•Demonstrated experience architecting, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed applications is required.
•Strong problem solving and debugging skills are required.
•Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required.
•Experience with component based web application frameworks is required;
•Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
•A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
