As a key member of our Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of product vision that will transform the way people work. In this role, you will:
-Set the vision and the technical direction for search architecture
-Improve the search experience, including indexing, retrieval, relevance ranking, spelling correction, and query classification
-Develop a training and quality measurement strategy
-Help design and implement features that will be used by millions of people every day
-Work with an extraordinary team made up of extremely talented individuals, work hard and have lots of fun along the way
To win in this role, you need:
-6+ years' experience designing and programming in Java and developing object-oriented distributed software systems
-4+ years of experience working with open source search software (Lucene/Solr/Elastic Search)
-Deep knowledge of various search algorithms
-Experience with machine learning, NLP, A/B testing, statistical analysis, Big Data (Map-Reduce, Hadoop), web crawling is highly desirable
-Experience with all aspects of software development lifecycle
-Strong analytical abilities and exceptional problem-solving skills
-Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented frameworks in a service-oriented architecture
-A Bachelors' or Master�s in computer science or related field is required
-The desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
