Mobile Software Developer - Healthcare
Medsphere Systems Corporation, a rapidly growing healthcare IT company, seeks a highly motivated software developer to join our mobile healthcare product team. Build ground breaking new applications for clinical users that will help them focus more on patient service and streamline the time they spend looking for information. Bring the usability lessons of consumer applications, while preserving the safety and technical accuracy required for healthcare.
Ideal Candidate
� Proficient with iOS native app development for iPad.
� Proficient with HTML5 front end development or Android native app development.
� Has 3+ years� hands-on experience developing software products
� Able to translate rough prototypes and minimal written requirements into fully functional features with high quality user experience.
� A track record of previous product development or contributions to open source projects.
� Has a passion for building a product with an applicable or meaningful mission
� Comfortable with a start-up environment. Knows how to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
� Effective member of a team, not a solo act.
� Computer science or software engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Additional skills:
� Experience with databases, relational or non-relational.
� Proficiency with Java or C++.
� Experience building or using hospital applications.
� Experience with build and release in Cloud / SaaS context.
Responsibilities
� Collaborate with product managers in development
� Build features, test the features and write unit tests.
� Collaborate with QA Engineers to define test priorities and improve automation.
� Contribute to tools and architecture.
