Web UI Engineer needed for long term project work for Fortune 500 Client Company.
Client Company is stable, public, and growing.
**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please (Local = Francisco Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
Contribute to cutting edge Web User Interface Design/Development for large scale mobile / internet applications.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience on a UI development team
- Expert level experience in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Solid understanding of JavaScript concepts experience in writing code in Object oriented way
- Experience with JQuery, Underscore or similar libraries
- Hands on experience working with AngularJs, Backbone, CanJs or similar MVC frameworks
- Code –based application experience working with SpringMVC based or similar
- Experience working with source controlled code base like git or svn
- Ability to pick up technology quickly
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Understanding of how to write unit tests in JavaScript
- Experience working in Agile Scrum team
- Understanding of HTML semantics
- Working with Accessibility (Keyboard/VoiceOver)
- Working with tools like Node, Gulp, Grunt Browserify
- Familiar with Java/PHP/Ruby or similar language
