[KITlist-Tech] Automated Test Developer, Cloud Storage (Mountain Vew, CA)

Our Mountain View client is leading provider of data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery services to the SMB market, is looking for an Automated Test Developer to play a pivotal role in the development of proprietary test software for their data protection products and business continuity service.

A key member of the development team and reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Automated Test Developer will play a pivotal role in the development of proprietary test software for data protection products and business continuity service. Working directly with the development team, participate in the architecture, design and development of automated test software for mission critical Cloud Computing and Storage components

Experience and Skill Set

Recent, demonstrated experience developing proprietary test software for complex linux based systems.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Meaningful, recent development experience with most of the following is required:

• Expert programmer in c/c++
• Strong expertise in at least one scripting language – perl, bash, ruby, etc.
• Windows or linux systems programming

Technology Savvy
Personal Integrity & Initiative
Hands-on Orientation
Excellent Problem Solving Skills

Optional, but highly desirable skill sets:

• Programmatic control of virtual machines
• Test methodologies and strategies for very large data sets
• Unit test frameworks in the linux environment
• Experience with svn and jira
