•
•· The role will require extensive experience in design and development on the Unix/Linux platform
•· Requires excellent programming skills in C/C++ and web services.
•· The role requires a considerable degree of knowledge/expertise in messaging concepts and technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ)
•· The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with agile based methodologies
•· Knowledge of open-source technologies and working relationship in existing open source projects are preferred.
•· The role will require performing some level of troubleshooting and issue resolution, and work closely with internal and external team members to meet those demands.
•· The candidate will also mentor and manage team members and provide technical leadership through the entire development life cycle of the product.
•· 5+ years experience in programming in C/C++ (needs to be currently or recently been working in C/C++)
•· 5+ years experience in Unix/Linux platform
•· 3+ years experience/knowledge in building web services using REST, SOAP and etc.
•· Understanding of messaging technologies is required (e.g. JMS, AMQP).
•· Experience with RabbitMQ is a plus
•· Knowledge/experience with ERLANG and/or Java is a plus
•· Experience with Apache Webserver and programming modules is a plus
•· Experience with building frameworks in large scale applications environment
•· Experience with building applications for cloud based deployment
•· Experience with build and version control tools are required (e.g. make, autoconf, maven, subversion)
•· Familiar with scripting and dynamic languages such as Perl, Ruby or Python a plus
•· Strong written and oral communication skills
•· BS or MS in computer science or related field
