FrontRange Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, to provide key contributions to the development of new SaaS products. In this position, you will analyze requirements, contribute to defining the architecture, produce design documentation, and implement the design. You'll need strong working knowledge of multi-threaded applications with the ability to convey your understanding of the intricacies of the system, and proficiency with OOP languages such as C#, Java, or C++. This is an opportunity to be a key contributor within a privately held company which already has a large customer base and is rapidly growing.
Responsibilities:
Development of new SaaS applications
Creates technical designs, selects best approach, develops functionality using best practices
Delivery of unit tests and technical design documents
Provides guidance to cross-functional/organizational team members
Writes high-quality implementations
Supports the application throughout the full lifecycle
Solves issues and implements corrections
Requirements:
Experience with scalable server technologies for web applications
Extensive experience using.NET, C# based web development environments
Experience building enterprise class multi-threaded, scalable server applications
Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
Experience with JSON, SOAP, Web services, XML, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML
Experience with object oriented programming design & development
Have been through at least one full software development lifecycle with an enterprise application
Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in daily work, ability to work independently and meet deadlines required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong specification writing skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired:
Knowledge and/or formal training in any of the following areas is a plus: rule-based systems, business process applications, distributed architecture, scalable architecture, performance optimization
Work experience with metadata-based applications
SaaS product development / implementation experience
Experience in ITIL processes. Service management business exposure is a plus
