FrontRange Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, to provide key contributions to the development of SaaS products. In this position, you'll analyze requirements, contribute to defining the architecture, produce design documentation and implement the design. You'll need strong working knowledge of web based applications with the ability to convey your understanding of the intricacies of the system, and proficiency with OOP such as C# and Java.
Responsibilities:
Development of SaaS Client applications
Creates technical designs, selects best approach, develops functionality using best practices
Unit testing implementation and technical design documents delivery
Provides guidance to cross-functional/organizational team members
Documents code at a level that provides a standard for other Engineers Testing
Support the application to go through the full lifecycle
Solve the issues, fixes in the product lifecycle
Requirements:
Complete understanding of and expert experience in browser based client technologies
Extensive experience using .NET, C# and Java.
Experience in building web based client applications using CSS, HTML5(Canvas will be a plus), JavaScript/AJAX
Experience in GWT, GXT(Ext GWT)/ExtJS and browser based Graphical editors is huge plus
Experience in SOAP/REST Web services and XML
Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in daily work, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired:
Working experience in metadata based application
SaaS product development / implementation experience
Experience in ITIL processes, Service management business exposure is a plus
