This position has responsibility for managing new product development leading small to large scale projects. This position will focus on mixed signals digital and analog circuits design for signal routing and transmission. Strong experience in high speed digital video is required. Strong experience with HDCP is also required.
Key Responsibilities
• Participating in day to day NPI related discussions
• Level 4 Technical Support escalation
• Leading the NPI projects from the engineering side
• Coordinate & Prioritize assigned projects from conception to completion
• Responsible to managing R&D roadmap
• Schematic design, analysis, and simulations
• Oversee package design and thermal modeling
• Creating laboratory test setups
• Product verification, compliance, and reliability testing
• Writing reports, specs., correspondence, and procedures (Manufacturing and Pilot sample SOPs)
• Working with on-shore and off-shore manufacturing to ensure products meet specifications
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• BS/MSEE with 5+ years of PCB design and layout experience.
• 5+ years' experience with high speed digital
• Strong knowledge of digital video interfaces: HDMI, DVI, SDI
• Strong knowledge of HDCP
• Strong knowledge of FPGA programming
• Strong knowledge of system control (IR, RS232, Telnet)
• Strong knowledge of wireless formats 802.11, 802.15 is a plus
• Strong understanding of QA processes and requirements
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication / assembly.
• Strong understanding of the process creation for concept design, product design, production, testing and assembly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
• Project management or management experince
