The Senior Product Manager will work with the Director of Product Management to define, refine and evolve the product direction of Socialtext´s online collaboration platform. You will help guide the development process as you move features from idea to implementation to production. You will help improve existing features as well as develop new ideas as we expand the size of the company and our offerings. You will work with Sales & Marketing to help build a collective understanding of current and future market trends and work with Support to keep an ongoing conversation with existing customers to help refine the product for their needs.
Responsibilities:
■Create and manage multiple products simultaneously
■Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, development and the market
■Gather, analyze and surface actionable key insights from quantitative data
■Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features
■Monitor the status of product development projects on a daily basis
■Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
■Be the go-to person for the portfolio of products you manage
Requirements:
■A clear understanding and interest in social enterprise applications
■Experience working as a product manager in an agile development environment
■5+ years product management experience in the enterprise software space
■Ability to speak both "engineering" and "marketing" well
■Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
■"Roll-up-your-sleeves" start-up/entrepreneurial attitude
■Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
■Ability to work with different people across a team effectively
■Bachelor´s degree required, graduate degree preferred
■Strong references
■Strong presentation and product demo skills
