Title: Business Analyst - Oracle R12
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6-12 months
Experis has an Oracle R12 Business Analyst position that requires the following skills:
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience with knowledge of Oracle R12 projects.
- Have a great sense of business and able to interpret IT terms into business terms or vice versa
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to summarize challenges or situations.
- Experience in projects that deal with transforming current business into a new model, on the new Oracle R12 platform
- Drive architectural conversation/decision with cross-functional teams
- Evaluate proposals and work with vendor to complete the business case for executive management.
- Lead discussions with the field and business stakeholders to collect business needs/requirements
Deliverables:
- Business Analysis
- Conduct assessment of stakeholder requests through detailed business analysis of customer pains, business problems and opportunities
- Establish value case through business metrics in order to support scope prioritization
- Assess size, complexity and cross-functional dependencies
- Prepare Project Scope Document (PSD), Process Maps and Human Workflows, Business Benefits, Recommended Phasing and Dependencies
- Contribute to Cross-functional Effort Assessment
- Ensure alignment with business goals / priorities, business processes, policies and stakeholders
- Review of scope, business requirements and solution designs to ensure consistent alignment through the capability enablement lifecycle
- Assist with business capability and scope roadmap
- Contribute to content for toll-gate reviews and user experience acceptance reviews
- Provide oversight as needed to ensure team success
- Provide periodic progress updates to the stakeholders Create To-Be workflows, identify gaps, and ensure business rules and policies are adhered to
- Document and provide context and business benefits analysis.
- Align business benefit and deliverables that will contribute towards overall capabilities to support ongoing growth of business, productivity of teams, customers and partners while ensuring alignment with policies
