In this position, the individual installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. Controls user access and passwords. Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Monitors usage and performance. Trains personnel on system usage. Coordinate with internal groups and departments on projects. Provide backline operational support.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 experience. Windows, RHEL 5/6, Solaris 10 server administration experience. NAS/SAN storage design, deployment and administration. VMware vSphere ESX 4.x and ESXi 5.0 setup and configuration. Cisco UCS deployment and administration. Working knowledge with LDAP, DNS, NFS, SFTP, HTTP, TCP/IP protocols. Familiar with DRM/DLP solutions and supportability. Ability to manage multiple projects . Create and maintain procedural documentation. Experience with monitoring and provisioning tools. Coordinate with internal groups and departments on projects. Provide backline operational support. . Experience with backup/recovery methodologies and technologies . Ability to write custom scripts is a plus. Experience with Exceed OnDemand or VNC. Ability to present solutions to internal departments. Ability to learn and apply new technologies . Ability to travel up to 25%.
