We are currently seeking a proven and successful Salesforce Developer/Consultant candidate to aid in the design of internal business systems for this exciting opportunity:
Position title: Salesforce Developer/Consultant
Location: San Jose, California area
Position description:
In this role the candidate will work with the internal business systems group, and will be responsible for the selection, development and ongoing support and improvement for the company's corporate systems. By leading multiple cross-functional teams, the Salesforce.com Consultant/Developer will work to deliver solutions that streamline and fully optimize corporate business systems for our continued high growth.
Position responsibilities:
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC to support a complex Salesforce.com environment
• Develop and deliver code to customize, enhance and integrate Salesforce.com and
boundary systems
• Adhere to test class best practices and QA levels, troubleshoot and bug fix as required
• Manage and maintain source code control and quality assurance based on best practices
• Collaborate to deliver corporate business systems and processes that solve the company's
technical and business needs
• Continually work to identify gaps and form recommendations to improve efficiency of
systems and processes that support changing business needs
• Evangelization of new technology and development of software applications to streamline
and automate business processes
• Support and maintain company's internal business systems ecosystem
• Deliver superior customer service to the company lines of business
Required skills:
• 5+ years of experience software development or programming experience
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce.com design, development and administration
• 3+ years of experience with relevant business systems; CRM (Sales and Support),
Marketing Automation, Financials, BI/Analytics, Order Management, Billing Systems, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com application development including; Apex
(Classes, Triggers and Components), S-Controls, Pages, Portals, Sites, Visualforce, and
Force.com IDE
• Proficiency in SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, SOSQL, Apex, Visualforce, XML and
JavaScript
• Prior experience with mobile app development, Java, HTML, XML, Perl, PHP is a plus
• Excellent project planning and management skills
• Strong analytic and process oriented mindset
• Understanding of complex business processes and applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
