POSITION – WINDOWS SYTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

DURATION – 6 MONTHS PLUS

LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA OR RTP, NC

TYPE - CONTRACT



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Hadoop / Linux / Windows:



• A minimum of 4 years experience working with Linux AND Windows administration

• A minimum of 2 years working experience with Hadoop and related "Big Data" technologies (PIG, Hive, Mahout, Spark, , etc)

• At least 1 year working experience with a cloud based computational environment (ex. Amazon EC2) highly desirable

• Working knowledge of SAS, R (or Python) highly desirable

• Capable to perform basic hardware maintenance like install HDD, RAID, Memory, etc.



QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong oral communication skills in English are absolutely fundamental.

• Significant experience working remotely as part of a geographically disperse team;

• Being able to attest self motivation and a strong ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative, project focused environment;

• Academic background in Statistics

• Experience with Dun Bradstreet data
