Senior Security Program Manager needed for long term engagement for client company. This senior role is for a self-motivated senior program management professional who has several years experience of working in a complex, fast-moving electronic commerce or software development environment with a strong focus on Information Security.

The primary responsibility will be to act as the main contact for liaison between the eCommerce and Client's Security team, providing guidance on engineering projects, and driving updates and ticket resolution for time critical deployments.

Client takes security very seriously, and this person will be expected to work with the specialist Security team to ensure that each and every project meets the highest standards that have been set for InfoSec compliance, with every possible step taken to protect our customers' data and privacy.

This person will need to be 50% results-driven project manager 50% information security expert, familiar with all key terminology and best practice and able to analyze problems as well as taking ownership for resolving them.

Person Specification

To be successful, the ideal candidate must have excellent technical project and program management skills, and be able to operate in a complex environment across multiple cost centers, geographies and systems and also have deep experience of working on security for web application development projects with electronic commerce. They are likely to have been a software developer or information security analyst who has moved into a program or project management role who actively seeks to maintain and develop.

Knowledge of security best practice by attending seminars, reading papers and formal training.

Experience in a high-volume, electronic commerce environment is essential, as is the ability to juggle a large number of tasks and tickets, with incredible attention to detail and a track record of working in environments where confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

They should be able to act as a thought leader, consultant and advisor on information security matters, and they will have the following characteristics:

- Bachelor's degree in a Computing, Computer Science, Information Security or a related area

- A Master's in Information Security is highly desirable.

- 10+ years experience in Information Security for web applications and electronic commerce.

- 5+ years experience of working in a project environment where they have had to manage a large number of different requirements and tasks.

- Good written and presentation skills - able to communicate effectively with engineers and senior managers.

- Good understanding of controlling and managing budgets, resource management and forecasting.

- Information Security training and one or more certifications in InfoSec (e.g. CISSP).

- Knowledge of waterfall and agile development methodologies (especially Scrum), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification highly desirable.

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive and broad experience of electronic commerce, combined with deep specific expertise in Information Security at both an application and architecture level.

They should have worked for major, market-leading consumer brands that are high profile and will have invested heavily in their information security provisions and platforms.
