Product Marketing Manager -Virtualization/Storage (Sunnyvale, CA)
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager for a contractor role at a fast growing startup company in the virtualization/storage solution space. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating messaging, understanding customer needs and developing a wide variety of marketing content.
This is a 40 hours per week; 3 month contract to potentially perm role at the client's offices in Sunnyvale. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
• Understand target customer needs and competitive landscape
• Develop complete range of marketing content such as product web pages, data sheets, technical white papers, social content, etc.
• Create and lead sales training sessions and presentations.
• Partner with demand generation manager to support lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience as a Product Marketing Manager, developing marketing materials and sales enablement tools.
• Strong background in Storage and Virtualization solutions from companies such as VMware, EMC, NetApp, Red Hat, etc.
• Knowledge of software defined storage solutions
• Strong writing and content creation skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Technical BS degree, MBA preferred.
