International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Senior Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst (RA) for our leading online search client.
The (RA) must be expert with internal staff engagement, business analysis, requirements management, and the development and delivery of Business Intelligence reports and other data output formats. The RA must be proficient in the development, management, and deployment of the MicroStrategy reporting infrastructure. The RA must be adept at assisting internal staff with the set-up and use of ad hoc reporting tools, and providing end-user training.
Location: Onsite at Client H.Q. – Silicon Valley.
Fulltime Employee Compensation: Depending on experience. Competitive salary and benefits.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 or more years experience with business intelligence report analysis and requirements definition.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with MicroStrategy reporting software.
• Ability to facilitate requirements gathering meetings and moderate the definition and analysis of business intelligence data requirements.
• Proven ability to project manage BI reporting from start to finish as well apply project management tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Talent to develop report design mockups and approvals, as well as support report and other data output format troubleshooting requests.
• Knowledge of data source providers, IT data warehouse and data aggregation processes and strategies for report generation.
• Ability to support the administration of the MicroStrategy reporting environment so that service level agreements for periodic, automated reports or data feeds are fulfilled as committed.
• Ability to contribute to quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes.
• Exposure to the System Development Lifecycle.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, plus solid business acumen.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bachelor degree and/or equivalent work experience.
