We seek a Director of Enterprise Product Management for our Maryland client. Our client is a private entitiy with significant revenue and a global presence - their products advise users on weather and environmental condiitons.
The position is responsible for leading the design, creation, and enhancement of all enterprise products. The Director will provide oversight of all aspects of the product lifecycle for enterprise products to include products for the commercial, government, energy, and education sectors.
The Director will ensure quality and reliability of all enterprise products. As the owner of the strategic product/service road map this position drives development and launch of new products. The position will also be responsible for product marketing and leading development of partnerships and teaming arrangements. The successful candidate will possess a passion for an entrepreneurial environment, taking initiative to develop and lead the full-life cycle of new product development and launch.
The successful candidate will possess an engineering degree w/MBA and a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience in environmental monitoring; instrumentation and sensor networks; data acquisition systems; and GIS required.
Knowledge of numerical modeling and Web / client software based data visualization and decision tools a must.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and influencing skills to drive programs and consensus.
