Job Title Sr. Developer / Build Engineer

Duties
- Maintain and continuously improve software build systems for multiple software product lines.
- Contribute to design and implement software installers. Design Engineering sanity testing cases and perform daily Engineering sanity testing for product releases.
- Ensure all unit tests work.
- Perform unit test coverage analysis.
- Work with developers to organize and cleanup the source code repository to allow efficient check out.
- Documentation and produce build-Help doc.
- Work with System administrators and software testers to install software builds daily and on demand.
- Perform code branching and merge.
- Perform build failure investigations and fixes.

Skills
- 5-7 years experience in a release or build engineering related field.
- Experience with isolating build/deployment issues versus code issues.
- Source code branching and merging strategy.
- 3+ years source control tool experience (Subversion or related).
- 3+ years build automation experience.
- Hands-on experience in creating automated build and deploy systems.
- Expert knowledge of continuous build systems (Hudson or related).
- General Linux systems administration-level knowledge.
- Experience with package installation, patch management updates, network & server management issues.
- Experience in fast-pace software product development environments.
- Experience integrating bug tracking software with version control software in build environments.
- Hands on knowledge programming in Ant, Java, XML and HTML.
- Experience with java code coverage tools.
- Excellent communication skills.

Education
- BS/MS in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
