What you'll be doing …
If you are passionate about building elegant user interfaces and rich user experiences, you have the aesthetic to build great ones, and you have the technical chops to design and implement the end-to-end solution, then this is the position for you. You will be responsible for the design and development of features in an analytical software suite with a constantly expanding set of capabilities. You will work on existing features in the product like dash-boarding, authoring analytical transformations or data modeling and help push them from "good" to "really great". Your efforts will delight our customers and have a direct impact on their day-to-day work.
Who you are …
You are a rock-star developer with at least five years of experience who loves code and has a passion for solving complex problems, be they at work or in your spare time on your own projects. You believe in automation and writing tests for your own code as a way of maintaining high quality in your products. You understand what it takes to write software that is used by thousands or millions of people. You love writing things that "just work" – things that are robust, scalable, and that perform well. You enjoy collaborating with others, learning from or teaching others so we can all become better developers. Finally, you have solid development skills with object oriented languages like C++ on the Windows development platform. Ideally, you also have knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing, Qt, and experience developing large-scale systems.
