UI Engineer/ Front End Developer
Cupertino,CA
12- 24 months contract

Key job responsibilities:
• Work as a front-end web developer with cross functional teams, understanding and refining user interface requirements, designing and writing code, clearly documenting the development process.
• Participate in setting front-end coding standards and guidelines for the Online Store, identify and document best practices.
Understand the necessity of and contribute to coding standards.
• Stay abreast of the new front-end web development technologies; integrate them with Online Store to enhance the usability and efficiency of the site.
• Lead efforts on large-scale, global, web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented.

Skills required
• Experience developing front-end and user interface code for large scale web sites.
• experience coding in HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Some experience in Ajax, XML, JSON.
• Strong understanding of performance, web analytics, SEO techniques.
• Familiarity with server side technologies and back-end frameworks.
• Experience with Subversion or similar file management systems.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities.
• Passion for creating a great user experience
