Job Title: Sr. Project Manager- Marketing/ IT web based/Reseller/Channel
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 6+ months (renewed quarterly)
Job Description
Looking for candidate to drive Partner (reseller, distributor, service providers, e-comms) enablement and support with a variety of web based tools. These tools are designed to drive growth of our Partners business and deepen the relationship by demonstrating value. The marketing discipline supports all of the client enablement tools, but owns the business strategy for handful- these are marketing enablement focused.
The specific function of this role is to develop the business requirements for the marketing focused tools, and either make recommendations to improve existing tools/platforms or replace them. These recommendations must include a clearly articulated strategy, set of business requirements, timeline and budget/resource implementation.
The intent is to have this lead tackle one strategic tool at a time- however, the lead may be called in to provide light direction on other tools prior to addressing it fully.
Internal and external collaboration would include:
Field marketing teams, Teams across the organizations, Integrated Marketing Communications,Vendor Management, as applicable
Experience and Skills Requirements (in order of preference)
+2 years project management skills
+2 years IT web based program project management
+2-3 solid understanding of key marketing principals/practice
+2 year knowledge of Channel/reseller business
Practical knowledge and application of Web 2.0/3.0 and social media
Attributes:

Education
Typically requires BS/BA degree and/or years of experience
