Desktop Support Specialist
Onsite Full-time in Mountain View, CA
Salary Range is $50,000 – $65,000

As a Desktop Support Specialist you will be responsible for:
• Supporting all desktops, laptops, PDAs, and tablets with a customer focused attitude.
• Tier 1 support, managing all internal technical requests from initiation to closure, while providing courteous, prompt, and reliable problem resolution.
• Working in conjunction with various departments by addressing technical questions related to CPP technologies.
• Interacting directly with IT team members to document, track, and resolve issues related to CPP infrastructure.
• Creating, updating and following-up on support cases to track and document customer related inquiries.
• Proactively developing standard operating procedures to streamline operations and maintain consistency.
• Logging all customer requests in the ticket tracking system.
• Managing and implementing software and hardware updates, patches and upgrades.
• Maintaining and deploying Virtual Desktop Images (Vmware VDI).
• Maintaining and deploying OS images on Desktops, laptops, PDAs, and tablets.
• Performing virus removal and ensure anti-virus software is current.

You will also help support IT with the following:
• CPP domain & DNS management
• Active directory & exchange server user account administration
• Printer vendor management
• Manage cloud backup system
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of 2 - 5 years technical and Desktop support experience.
• A customer-focused attitude and mindset.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications, Apple products, LAN environments, browsers, and anti-virus software.
• In depth knowledge of various operating systems, software systems and hardware configurations as well as desktop remote management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with customer relations management systems and processes.
