Full-time Network ops/engineer job in Mountain View, near 237, with well-established (15 yrs) SaaS/Cloud company. Must work regular hours (rest of network group covers the irregular hours).
You should have a BS in a technical field, 1 to 3 years of experience, able to learn complex topics, have the drive to grow in this job.
Main work will be on cisco 6500, ACE20 and 30, FWSM, ASA-SM, ASR, Nexus 7k, in a hosted, 24x7 operation.
Candidate should be familiar with
- Network protocols such as 802.1Q, OSPF and BGP.
- Access-list, dynamic, static and policy NAT configurations on Routers and Firewalls.
- Upgrading and maintaining uniform code levels on Cisco routers and switches.
Candidate should be service and detail oriented, a fast learner with good communication skills, willing to happily handle routine tasks on a daily basis and able to work with varied groups.
Compensation is market-rate salary, excellent beneifts, nice work environment, onsite cafeteria 3 days a week.
