What you'll be doing…
In this position, you will help Tableau grow its technical partnership and integration capabilities. As the Program Manager for the technical partnership team you oversee the definition of feature and product improvements leading to better product integration between Tableau products and its partners. While successful projects demand hard work, you believe that at the core of a project's success lies in top-notch communication. As a result you are at the heart of the development action every day. You are responsible for shepherding the release of partner integration project and features inside Tableau client product, server product, mobile application and hosted services at Tableau Software.
You are always curious and inquisitive of potential partner technology roadmap and directions. You are tenacious and focused on the details while striving to maintain and support the flexibility that an upstart product company needs to grow and be successful. Your collaboration style is your biggest asset to drive release to successful completion in a productive and positive environment. You know how to communicate well with everyday project members, occasional participants, sponsors and Tableau partners. You see the success of the project team as your success.
Some of the things you'll be doing include…

• Responsible to keep a watch on industry technology trends and detect potential technological shift or partnership technical opportunities.
• Responsible to drive definition and prioritization of Partner integration projects
• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination between the various engineering teams involved with this projects.
• Work with development teams and groups outside Engineering to establish detailed project schedules and ensure delivery to those schedules
• Manage dependencies with other departments and other projects.
