Title: Business Analyst (BI)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Experis IT Professional is seeking for a Business Analyst who will be working globally to build out the analytical platform and to assist in the development, support as well as to maintain of the analytical platform (OBIEE/ BI) with the below qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Capture/understand complex business processes, develop clear business requirements.
- Generate business requirements and functional specifications.
- Interface with stakeholders to provide metrics and data support.
- Contribute to the expansion and evolution of metrics to support new program opportunities.
- Execute against project plans, responsible for deliverables and provide timely status on progress
- Drive measurable results in targeted process areas; work cross-functionally to determine value case and success metrics to track
- Determine impacts of policies, processes, tools and systems; develop requirements to implement changes necessary to enable those improvements
- Work with IT to clarify requirements as needed during design, development, and pilot cycles
Qualifications:
- Degree and 3+ years demonstrated process analysis experience required
- Strong knowledge in OBIEE (pre-built and custom), including developing reports, metadata repository and presentation components.
- Proficient in management of all aspects of OBIEE
- Strong experience in a Business Intelligence environment
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases (11g/10g)
- Ability to analyze the functional feasibility, interpret information and translate them into visual representations.
- Developer experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence Applications background is preferred.
- Services Sales, sales support, or service delivery experience a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and quick to master new technologies
