As a member of Wind River's IT Applications team, the successful senior candidate will be a key development resource for developing and delivering web technology solutions to address business needs. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in web applications development.
As a senior developer the successful candidate will work with business teams to analyze system and process requirements, and design and develop enterprise application solutions utilizing Oracle ADF technologies and J2EE. The role will also involve a heavy hands-on support component to manage, troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications in a complex web environment. The web applications span diverse business areas such as online customer support, search, support documentation, web content management and education services.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop ADF applications utilizing industry best practices and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing web applications
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 5+ years of experience in web applications development
• Extensive experience with Oracle Application Development Framework
• Experience in the use of standard J2EE design patterns
• Experience with foundation level components including ANT, servlets, JSPs, EJBs, etc
• Working knowledge of Oracle database languages such as SQL, PL/SQL
• Very familiar with Linux/UNIX OS a must (scripting experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills a must
• Be able to engage in large-scale enterprise projects
Other skills:
• Experience in tuning, administering and using weblogic servers a plus
• Must know at a basic level Javascript, html, Ajax
• PHP, perl experience a big plus
