Position: Sr. Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Hands on design, development and documentation of new software products designed for robustness, scalability, testability and serviceability.
• Understand and Maintain existing products and develop feature enhancements for existing products.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate new solutions.
• Coach, guide, and oversee engineers on various projects. Review design and code for adherence to guidelines with written comments for improvements.
Requirements:
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 8+ years of experience in product development.
• 3+ years of experience in design and development of large distributed enterprise applications (scalable, reliable, available, distributed)
• Experience with server-side architectures and application development frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Java/J2EE, REST, Service Oriented Architecture, High Speed Messaging JMS, AMPQ.
• Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX.
• Good knowledge of database concepts and databases such as MSSQL and Oracle
• Ability to develop quick proof of concepts and prototypes
• Ability to work on multiple projects and be able to change direction quickly based on business drivers
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with local and remote team members.
• Must have experience in working with remote teams.
