Title: Sr. Business Analyst (supporting VP level)
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 3+months (renewed quarterly)
- 7 years of experience are required
-Person will be supporting in excess of 3000 people, 1 SVP, 1 VP and 5 Senior Leaders.
Responsibilities (and skills that will be used):
- Interacting with corporate groups to ensure alignment on an ad hoc basis. (excellent people skills at all levels of management)
- Providing guidance and setting guidelines for the teams to follow (critical thinking to develop the strategy, people and PM skills to implement it)
- Partner with Comms
- Manage the Quarterly Capacity Planning process (extensive excel usage, communications with Senior Managers, data consolidation and analysis).
- Manage CPE integrated calendar (create calendar in outlook noting key activities for all of CPE and keep up to date)
- Facilitate the weekly Business Operations Managers forum (set the agenda, prepare any deck required, follow-up on action items).
- Assist in the quarterly business review process (consolidate information from various groups onto single slides ensuring key messages are retained, prepare metrics summary slides in predefined formats ensuring key metrics are addressed)
- Execute ad hoc requests resulting from the Chief of Staff function
- Potentially get involved in FY14 planning.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- smart/common sense and can work under pressure
- able to effectively execute a multitude of activities without getting lost in the details
- finance background helpful, but not required
- Must master Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, web browsers
- Nice to have: MS Access knowledge, html experience.
