We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Operations Engineer to join our growing team! If you have strong skills in implementing and managing high availability, mission critical infrastructure, are a dedicated problem solver and rock at multi-tasking, keep reading. This is a full-time position with huge growth potential.
In this role, you will:
•Perform software installations and documentation
•Manage configuration changes for the deployed systems
•Develop scripts to automate processes and monitor system performance
•Document implementation processes and procedures
•Be on-call and have after-hours responsibilities as needed
•Have some datacenter engineering work
To win in this role, you need:
•Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
•2+ years of Linux system administration including data center technical experience
•Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize tasks
•1+ years of experience with one or more scripting languages: Bash, Python, or equivalent
•To be comfortable in a start-up environment where innovation and change are the norm.
•Experience with version control systems, such as git, is a plus
•Experience using configuration management systems (Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, etc.) is preferred
