C++ Software Engineer needed for cutting-edge software company based in San Mateo that is building a low latency, high volume, transaction-based system capable of handling the coming wave of Big Data, based on a patented multi-core scalable platform. To continue the development efforts we are looking for a skilled C++ programmer to join our team.

The must-have technical skills:
- Strong C++ development background with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Adaptability when it comes to technology
- Quick learner
- Great logical reasoning and debugging skills
- Experience developing on Linux and Windows
- A keen eye for attention to detail

Experience with one or more of the following would be a plus:
- Database internals
- Operating System (OS) internals
- Compiler building expertise
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- File systems
- Failover/HA systems
- Clustering
- Hadoop, Cassandra
- Working with large data volumes (Terabytes and above)
- Porting to Unix/Linux
- Strong background in mathematics
- Prior experience in a startup environment
