Senior PeopleSoft Analyst – Technical
3-6 months+ contract
Carlsbad, CA
An experienced PeopleSoft FS/HR developer with the ability to design technical solutions for PeopleSoft FS/HR applications using an Oracle RDBMS and support other web applications, interfaces, and related custom or packaged code. Candidate must have demonstrated PeopleSoft programming technical skills.
• Looking for a technical individual with a minimum of 6 years of experience working with P/Soft Financials version 8.8 thru 9 and P/Soft HR version 8.x and higher.
PeopleSoft HR and Time and Labor as well as PeopleSoft Financials (AM, PC, GL, AP, PO modules) starting with version 8 and higher
Design and troubleshoot new and existing changes/enhancements for PeopleSoft HR, Time and Labor, 3rd party integrations and PeopleSoft Financials using PeopleSoft HR/TL version 8 and higher or PeopleSoft Financials version 9.0 or higher.
Experienced in using tools like TOAD, UltraEdit, PeopleSoft nVision, Peoplesoft Query or other SQL query tools
Good understanding of PeopleSoft tools like Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Messaging, Web Services, Data Archive Manager, Security, etc.
Looking for great analytical skills to ensure functional requirements can be gathered and translated into technical design/code and vice versa.
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt message to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent problem solving and logical analysis skills
In-depth experience working on Interfaces/ conversions in an Oracle 11i applications environment
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and OO development concepts
Ability to lead a team to accomplish team goals and train and mentor
