Technical Community Manager
We´re looking for a highly motivated, socially savvy, solutions oriented person to join our team as Oxygen Cloud´s Technical Community Manager. The Technical Community Manager will be responsible for engaging, nurturing, and growing our user community, be a champion for our customers, and turn users into die-hard fans. He/she will be the the voice of the company as well as the voice of the user community. The Technical Community Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, tech support and product development teams to provide feedback from the user community.
Responsibilities:
Manage and interact with our user community
User forum moderation and engagement, foster community spirit, and promote an inter-user support system
Serve as the first point of contact for the user community across various social media platforms
Function in a Technical Support capacity within the user community context
Coordinate and manage user nurturing campaigns
Schedule, organize and participate in community related events
Recruit new customers and create product champions
Research and understand industry and market trends and relevant topics with our user base
Research, analyze and report our product performance and sentiment of our user community, and find creative solutions to improve our user satisfaction
You are:
Highly motivated with a passion for cloud computing, new technologies, and social media trends
A creative problem solver and a self-starter
A troubleshooting machine
Highly technical, resourceful, organized and solution oriented
Out-going, friendly and have a sense of humor
Interested in being a part of a hard working, passionate startup team
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree from a 4 year university
2-4 years experience in online marketing and community management within the same industry
Previous experience working in technical support or in IS/IT a major plus
Technically proficient on a variety of platforms and systems
Detail oriented, organized, and out-going
Excellent communication skills
Problem solver and team player
Flexibility to work well under pressure, tight deadlines, and ability to prioritize tasks
