Location : Salt Lake City, UT
Duration : 6 months +
. The Project Mgr will work closely with technical development teams,
* Reporting, dashboards, datamart/data warehouse projects
* Perform project management of Customer Service technology projects, including project plan management, issues tracking, risk mitigation
* Act as a liaison to the Operations, product management and development organizations, aligning requirements with the delivery of strategic objectives
* Facilitate requirements and design meetings to understand and collect product, business and technical needs
* Resolve ambiguities and conflicting business and technical requirements
* Identify and design new processes that may be required in support of the project, using and adapting existing processes where possible
* Ensure new processes are transitioned to appropriate owners for ongoing support
* Ensure alignment of projects and requirements to strategic objectives
Job Requirements
5+ years of Program/Project Management experience and 2+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
* Strong project management full life cycle experience in medium scale projects, both custom development and package applications. Working with large and diverse teams in multiple locations. Experience with a variety of methodologies
* Background in business systems analysis throughout the product development life cycle
* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and succinctly, complex design and technical issues, as well as business and product requirements
* Ability to understand and challenge technical proposals
* Strong presentation and documentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
* Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas is desirable: Reporting, dashboards, Siebel, content management, IVR/telephony, contact management (cases, routing, blending), CRM
* Demonstrated:
o Ability to summarize and present complex issues to a variety of audiences: technical, non-technical and executive personnel
o Flexibility and adaptability to fit the needs of the project, making progress despite ambiguity
o Ability to work within existing processes, but able to understand and define where new, different or abridged processes should be used
o Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as events warrant
o Ability to work across group boundaries and forge cross-functional relationships
* Experience with:
o Medium scale system implementations
o Vendor package software, configuration, scope management
o Custom-designed software solutions
