Seeking a talented front-end developer that loves bringing great designs to fruition with standards compliant HTML and CSS.
If you're interested in working with a small tightly-knit group that is passionate about great web experiences and appreciates the intricacies of outstanding front-end code, then this is the job for you!
You should love all aspect of front-end development and constantly be reading up on the newest techniques and optimizations and be willing to share them with the rest of the team.
"Good enough" doesn't cut it for us. That's why we are looking for front-end developers with these qualities:
- Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel perfect sites that meet the design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team
- Appropriate use of hooks in HTML to limit the amount of classes and ID's
- Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage
- Always weed out extraneous markup
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large sites
- Familiar with source control principles and comfortable with Subversion
- In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them
- Experience working with jQuery, advanced JavaScript skills a big bonus
- Utilize CSS3 while maintaining fallback for browsers that don't support it
- Comfortable with HTML5

We are a 30 person team that is incredibly passionate about web and mobile development. We operate about 30 web sites and counting. Given the different brands in our portfolio the work is always varied and different and consistently presents new challenges. Our Digital Labs team has its own culture and we strive to create a work place that is engaging and fun.
