[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: IT Analyst (UI, Agile) (Silicon Valley, Ca)

OTM is looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy individual with excellent analyst and project management skills. This position will be responsible for providing UI specifications, writing user stories, managing multiple projects from initiation through post-launch implementation and maintenance, and directly communicating project status with clients, team members, and management. General projects usually include; providing best-in-class user experience for the customers, adding new methods, and expanding the global reach.

Responsibilities:

Works with product managers and designers to clarify requirements
Builds domain expertise and acts as an subject-matter-expert representing front-end engineering
Identifies project scope, upstream and downstream requirements
Provides task breakdown and generates user stories, test cases and mock-ups
Manages coordination between designers, front-end engineers, back-end engineers, QA and project management
Tracks estimates, actuals, team velocity, burn rate and scope changes
Manages the bug pool, prioritization, escalation and reporting

Desired Skills:

Strong communication skills, especially written
Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Solid understanding of software development life-cycle (SDLC) with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
Experience with Agile methodologies, especially writing user stories
Requires excellent hands on IT skills and knowledge
Requirements:

Preferred:

4 years prior Information Technology experience required
Background in programming or engineering preferred
Experience working with UI technologies, Photoshop (or similar) is a plus
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
