Job Description
Lead/Sr kernel, Unix Engineer will be responsible for developing storage & virtualization features for our distributed storage platforms. Development crosses kernel, userland & drivers; a successful candidate must have Kernel, Linux, storage exp.
Experience
MUST HAVE Kernel, Unix, Storage, L2 exp.
Qualifications include:
BS in CS or related field
5+ years embedded & kernel systems development experience.
MS/PhD a plus
Appreciation for simplicity in design & execution leading to intuitive interfaces & products
Unix kernel expertise
Solid programming experience
C, Assembly, Python, shell/awk programming, network & protocol programming, low level packet tracing & debugger fault analysis.
Storage, virtualization and/or L2 networking expertise
Excellent social & communication skills
Compensation:
Excellent salary DOE, Pre-IPO stock, bonus, 401k, full beneffits.
