Lead/Sr Escalation -802.11, Embedded, TCP/IP, C, Development Engineers
Location- Santa Clara, CA
Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE: Escalation, Linux, Wi-Fi,802.11, Embedded,bridging, routing, network exp.
Sr Embedded Software Developer/Engineer - with focus on escalation issues.
Strong experience in C, Linux, Wi-Fi, 802.11, and data networking TCP/IP, router, switch.
Work closely with Senior Architects to implement solutions that enhance usability, reliability, & performance of wireless products.
Analyze existing code & instrument custom trace code to diagnose & resolve issues related to functionality, interoperability, & stability.
Rapid development, quickly responding to customer needs.
Involves Sustaining, code maintenance & documentation.
Develop frameworks & tools to help monitor & troubleshoot network health & performance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of work exp. implementing C software for switching & routing platforms.
3+ years of work exp. developing embedded Linux software for wireless networking platforms.
Strong knowledge of 802.11 wireless protocols & 802.11 message exchange from power-on to association, power saving modes, packet aggregation & Wi-Fi security modes.
Strong embedded Linux software development & debugging skills.
Outstanding analytical & troubleshooting skills
Solid understanding of bridging, routing, & network protocols (like TCP/IP, DHCP, ARP & DNS, NAT, STP)
Experience with Hostapd and wpa_supplicant , AAA, LDAP, Wispr, & .1x is a strong plus.
BS/MS in EE and/or CS
Compensation:
