POSITION – SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
LOCATION – SUNNYVALE, CA
TYPE – FTE
Job Description:
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for writing advanced multi-threaded, java server code.
• Design, development and testing of both a large-throughput business server and highly concurrent media server
• Real-time monitoring and debugging of production systems
• Participation in cross-functional projects from conception through deployment
• Prioritize and multi-task simultaneous projects while helping to increase revenue
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of server side Java development
• 2+ years of extensive experience with Java concurrency and multithreading in a highly scalable application environment
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using Java to access RDBMS like MySQL or Oracle
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• A solid foundation in algorithm design and data structure usage
• Experience building services or systems that a client SDK interacts with
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Must be comfortable with adult content
• Must be at least 21 years old
Desired but not required:
• Experience with the Spring IoC framework as an application developer
• Experience with Wowza Media Server as an application developer
• Experience interacting with highly scalable asynchronous messaging systems like WebSphereMQ
Skills:
• Must be comfortable working independently and as a member of a cross functional team
• High degree of honesty and integrity
• Deadline oriented and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
