Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Experis has an exciting position for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will help in driving advanced development in the real time data analytics project. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a very high-demand function services team. You will join a team who is responsible for developing new techniques to merge large data sets to create a view of customers, personalize interactions, anticipate sales or support opportunities and identify and mitigate network security threats.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide business intelligence and analytics for planning and operations
- Analyze large amounts of data for a wide range of analysis activities including resource investments, business results, gross margin, geo/customer segment trends, etc.
- Work with the leadership team on marketing performance analysis and provide visibility to marketing programs, priorities and ROI
- Develop key business metrics and KPIs to measure the achievement of business goals and drive analysis and management reporting of these metrics.
- Manage and facilitate the tracking of key business initiatives
- Establish and maintain a repository for business intelligence information and ensure ready availability for decision-making, planning and operations reviews.
Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years of BI Analyst experience with strong analytical skills and ability to understand and develop insights into complex business and investment data and ability to draw reasoned conclusions based on sound data interpretation.
- 5+ years experience in data modeling, analytics, managing operations, program management or management consulting
- Marketing performance analysis and modeling skills
- Strong team work and collaboration skills, with track record of leading or working with cross-functional teams
- SQL, Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft Excel and related tools experience
- Good communication skills and ability to convey key points of complex topics in a concise manner.
- Ability to facilitate operational review forums.
- Results oriented, able to prioritize in face of multiple requests with ability to complete deliverables on time.
- Degree in Finance or Business, MBA preferred
- Experience in working in large and complex organizations.
