Redline Solutions is a successful, privately held company delivering inventory and traceability solutions to the fresh produce industry. Our company is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual for a Software Developer position. We are looking for an experienced developer who will be joining a team of seasoned programmers.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop solutions for mobile, web and desktop applications utilizing C#
• Revise database schema and tables as needed
• Review existing code and make required modifications
• Design and develop UI screens
• Plan and implement integration processes to other applications
• Submit all designs and code modifications for peer review
• Write, maintain and execute unit test plans
• Take responsibility for multiple tasks in an Agile development environment
• Contribute in writing functional and technical task descriptions
• Advocate ongoing improvements
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of C# development experience
• .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework programming experience and an understanding of the ASP.NET web forms architecture.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of:
o Object Oriented design patterns
o SQL and relational database design
o Client-Server paradigm
o Distributed systems
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Working experience with version control systems (SVN experience is preferred)
• Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Desired:
• WinMobile / WIN CE experience
• Experience with one of the following: warehouse management software, ERP or accounting systems
• Experience in designing and coding web based and mobile software applications in Windows environment utilizing Visual Studio 2008 or higher
