Shape seeks exceptional candidates to play key roles in the development of Shape's innovative, patent pending web security products and services.
Sr. Software Engineer -‐ Java (highly prefer strong background in backend, distributed systems with multi-threading)
The Senior Java Software Engineer is responsible for the development of a secure, soft real time, network intensive application.
Requirements:
4+ years backend Java development experience
2+ years experience developing TCP/IP network intensive applications
2+ years developing performance critical, multithreaded applications
BS/MS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Must also have several of the following:
Experience working in a start up environment
Experience developing compilers and/or interpreters
Experience interfacing C/C++ with Java via JNI
Experience with common web application development technologies including JSP, ASP, PHP, Python based
frameworks, etc.
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and common Internet protocols including HTTP and DNS
Experience with platform security assessment and certification standards including Common Criteria,
FIPS/NIST, etc
