As a Server-side Software Engineer you will design and develop interesting software. You will explore product requirements to understand technical difficulties, recommend implementation approaches, and design solutions. You will participate in both functional/technical group discussions with fellow developers.
Required Skills:

• A self- starter who has the ability and willingness to learn new material quickly and perform in a fast paced environment
• A great team player, sociable, with good communication skills
• Ability and willingness to take ownership of projects, and help drive them to effective implementation
• Attention to detail
Required Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in the design and implementation of distributed multi-tier systems in structured object oriented programming languages. Strong Java or C++ or C# .net expertise
• 3+ years of experience in the design of object oriented systems. Deep understanding of design patterns & data modeling
• Proven and demonstrable experience designing and implementing enterprise scale, high volume, high availability systems
• Must have exceptional skills in server side Java, distributed programming and multi-threading .
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Knowledge of PLC, version control and build systems including ANT, Maven, CVS, Perforce and SVN
• Comfortable in a Unix environment

Desired/ Pluses
• Network fundamentals including the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4 and working knowledge of IPv6.
• Proven knowledge of java development frameworks such as Spring, Ibatis, JDBC, or Hibernate.
• Experience with UI components such as MVC, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• .Experience with SQL, Oracle 10g or later, JDBC, other DBMS
