Title: Oracle Apps Sr. Technical Resource Job Profile
Location: 4 days San Francisco, CA & 1 day Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 – 12 months
Skill Set Profile:
Technical design and development in Oracle - EBS using Oracle tools including PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, Forms etc.
• Strong Analysis and issue resolution capabilities.
• Experience on EBS architecture in specific business area - OM, Inventory, Install Base, Service Contracts and AR, as well as technical architecture
• Ability to lead discussions with onsite business and technical consultants to clarify the functional specifications, build technical design requirements and explain the options clearly
• Should be able to coordinate with offshore to build and deliver RICE objects as per agreed design specifications and time schedule; support during the IT testing and User acceptance testing etc.,
• Ability to conceptualize technical design options, identify the best option and complete the technical design specifications for the specific RICE objects based on specialization
• Familiarity with Oracle suggested standards and approach for delivering the EBS work product – RICE
• Should possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Functional business process flow knowledge in select areas which he specializes
• Expectations from the role – Support the Oracle applications + do enhancements from time to time.
• Current model- 5-6 people in offshore team, this consultant along with the client's technical resource (employee) will support the applications
• At an average get around 400-500 tickets, which includes simple questions & some real issues.
• Support expectations 24X7 for critical issues
Required Job Knowledge:
Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of
• PL / SQL,
• Forms 6i,
• Reports 6i,
• Workflow Builder 2.6,
• XML Publisher,
• Report Development using Discoverer,
• Handling Oracle Standard API´s,
• AOL setups related to DFF, Alerts, Concurrent programs etc.
• Form Personalization and Customization.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Oracle ERP Application Modules like
• Order Management
• Inventory (Including BOM)
• Finance (AR/AP/GL)
• Install Base and Service Contracts.
