We have an opening with our client Symantec. The highlights of the position are:

The JD is as follows-

Title-Network Security Engineer

Duties
• Install, configure, and maintain network security firewall like Palo Alto ,Fwsm Checkpoint and Juniper.
• Provide peer review to other network engineers to validate proposed configurations and designs Provide advanced consultation in the design, planning and implementation of advanced technical network services and configurations.
• Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects, and ensure maintenance of network integrity throughout project development.
• The Network Engineer will participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to respond to critical customer issues and questions Analyze, setup, monitor, and audit required measures to ensure data network performance and security.

Skills

7+ years of industry experience in related area.
• Extensive knowledge of network security firewall like Palo Alto ,Fwsm Checkpoint and Juniper.
• The candidate must be knowledgeable with the concepts and be an expert in troubleshooting and implementation of Network/Security infrastructure with Cisco technologies, Juniper, Foundry and Nortel load balancers

Location:Mountainview,CA
Duration: 1year with possible extension
